Chinese ZTE Corporation in collaboration with the Ningxia Branch of China Telecom has successfully completed the network construction for the cloud-network synergy project, with the use of a device provisioning in a private industrial network and service deployment in some local networks in Ningxia, China.

The transport network will serve as one end of the two planes for private industrial slicing networks of the Ningxia Branch of China Telecom, with the two companies at the same time taking measures to assist the operator cover user experience-oriented services in known scenarios with the provision of a means to interconnect ZTE’s cloud network PE with the STN private network, MAN, e-Cloud, and Centralized Security Platform.

A Press Release stated that the National Radio and Television Administration had in 2020 began the integration of cable TV networks all over the country with radio and TV 5G network construction, while noting that the Ningxia Cable TV Network had also set a target of constructing a reliable and IP cloudified MAN architecture in the process.

The new project  will offer customers  the opportunity of having expanded network capabilities, which will include fast network service provisioning, distinguished cloud access private lines and flexible multi-cloud connection, with the aim to satisfy various digital requirements of different industries and stimulate the growth of the digital economy.

ZTE has for the project on its own has presented an intelligent full-service router known as ‘cloud network PE core’ established on its ROSng routing operating system.

The adoption of industry’s most advanced distributed, large-capacity; non-blocking switching architecture on the ZTE multi-service packet platform has the capacity to support high-rate interfaces from GE to 400GE, tackling high-bandwidth service demands.

Furthermore, the deployments of ZTE’s cluster core routers, together with the speed-up of 5G network constructions in 2021, will be a template for the operators to build high-quality green 5G transport networks, deliver differentiated operation services together with the creation of differentiated operation services a high-quality business development pattern.

It should be of note that ZTE’s T-level 5G access device has the lowest single-node latency at one microsecond; this would ensure ensuring ultimate experience of low-latency services.

The ZTE new-generation intelligent transport management and control system is laced with centralized control of ultra-large networks and full-scenario coverage of transport networks, a capability that would ensure the seamless deployment of the technology.

With the 5G adoption coming to the global consciousness in 2021, China Telecom has continue to latch on the trend with the use of its network resource to bring about the latest network spectrum to the country.
