It’s about time Apple’s iPad has the Facebook owned messaging platform WhatsApp enabled on the device, don’t you think so? This is a long awaited news for all Apple iPad user as the fun of using the most downloaded messaging app is coming to their various iPad models worldwide.
According to a report from WABetaInfo which made reference as WhatsApp for iPad was reportedly spotted on the latest version of desktop app and the possibility of WhatsApp coming to Apple iPad seems to be coming to a reality.
The messaging platform has recently updated its desktop and web clients in which icons were added for iPad. However, the report didn’t specify if the WhatsApp will come as a dedicated mobile app or in form of a web app for WhatsApp web users so is likely it will either work as a WhatsApp web or a standalone App since there are iPads with cellular support.
At the moment, There is no official WhatsApp app for iPad but iPad users can always download third party apps from App Store which enable the instant messaging service accessible to the tablet but the experience isn’t as awesome as the standalone App because users have to make sure that their other device with the app is connected always before it can be paired with the iPad tablet.
In most mobile updates, WhatsApp has added quite a number of features for its users to experience a much better interface with cool features. Last month , ‘delete for me and delete for everyone’ feature was added for its android version while for iOS users it allows users delete messages sent individual in a group or as well as a group text which can be deleted within seven minutes of sending them.
Another feature called ‘WhatsApp Pay is currently undergoing testing and will be first be launched in India. It will also support the UPI based payment service.
