WhatsApp is working on another tweak to develop its instant messenger in-app text editor tool. The Meta-owned social media platform has the in-app text editor tool in the trial platform which denotes that the revamped text editor will be out in due time.
WhatsApp is reportedly the most popular instant messenger platform that continues to receive tweaks to alter its innovation with the latest tech support. In line with users familiar with the development revealed that WhatsApp beta has a new text editing tool in progress.
At the moment, Android users are entitled to access the edit tool via the beta instant messenger app while WhatsApp promises all OS platforms will access the instant messenger platform with the edit tool including, iOS users, Android users, and desktop users.
The new changes coming to WhatsApp are ideal for Meta to move towards expanding the features of the instant messenger app. The instant messenger beta platform is available on the Google Play Store.
Neither WhatsApp nor its parent company disclosed the timing of the text editor upgrade that will be released for global users. Still, the social media giant is keen on developing the beta version of the instant messenger to “easily switch between different fonts by tapping one of the font options shown above the keyboard.”
The upcoming WhatsApp version will make it easy to switch fonts since more font styles are added for user enthusiasm. Editing texts on the green app is easier than the prior version whereby texts can be aligned in any preferred position either at the left, right, or centre of the screen.
It’s a no-brainer that the edit text features on other sections — the green app developers did not disclose if the text editor will be accessible in chats and other in-app sections. However, the edit text features with background colour transition that allows users to choose the preferred background colour to match the written context.
