A significant update to the messaging app was just released, making it simpler and more enjoyable to create, manage, and share sticker packs within the app.
In the past, users could make their own stickers, but it was difficult to organize and mail them, especially if you had a lot. WhatsApp users can now organize and access their stickers more easily by grouping them into distinct folders or packs thanks to the new sticker pack functionality.
This has made the sorting stickers now simpler thanks to a new function that WhatsApp has introduced. Users may now make personalized sticker packs within the Meta Platforms instant messaging client without ever leaving the app. To expedite the process of locating the appropriate sticker and forwarding it to their loved ones, they can arrange their stored stickers into several folders. Additionally, WhatsApp has made it possible to distribute a whole sticker pack rather than just a single sticker.
In October 2024, it was initially revealed that WhatsApp was testing the creation of personalized sticker packs. The functionality was first made available to Android WhatsApp beta users earlier this year, but it was only available to those who had signed up through the Google Play Beta Program.
The personalized sticker pack feature is now accessible on WhatsApp for iOS and Android with the most recent version. It removes the need to make personalized sticker packs with third-party apps.
According to a WhatsApp representative, “you can now make your chats more fun and personal, whether it’s a pack of stickers of your dog or hilarious selfies of your closest friends.”
“You can now create and make your chats more fun and personal, whether it’s a pack of stickers of your dog or hilarious selfies of your closest friends by making your own sticker packs and share them directly in your chats, so your friends and family can all use your custom stickers to express themselves,” the instant messaging platform said in an announcement of the feature’s launch. Along with the GIF, avatar, and sticker options, WhatsApp’s sticker sheet now features a new pencil icon.
Instead of sending stickers one at a time, you can share complete sticker packs with friends and family with a single tap.
WhatsApp hinted at sticker pack sharing earlier this year, and new functionality expands on that. Now, the most recent version of the software is formally being made available to all users.
To make a personalized sticker pack:
Open the stickers.
Press the pencil symbol.
Choose the stickers you want to include.
In the lower-left corner of the screen, pick the three-dot option.
Select the option to “Add to sticker pack.”
The custom pack will show up on WhatsApp among other saved stickers, and users can customize the folder name. Although they can ship each sticker separately, they can also send the full sticker pack in bulk. The feature is operational on both the iOS and Android platforms, according to Gadgets 360 employees.
You take use of all these new features, make sure you update to the most recent version.
