Unveiling Zenith Bank’s Zenith Tech Fair 4.0

This Thursday, the Eko Convention Centre, Eko Hotels & Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos, will host the Fourth Edition of the Zenith Bank Tech Fair, with the theme “Future Forward 4.0: Embedded Finance, Cybersecurity & Growth Imperatives – The Impact of AI.”

According to a statement released by the bank on Monday, the fair/exhibition will showcase state-of-the-art technological innovations in a number of domains, such as artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, risk management, compliance, financial intelligence, cloud computing, and communication technologies. In order to identify innovative firms, there will also be panel discussions, workshops, exhibitions, and a startup pitch competition called Zecathon.

The event will include a welcome message by Dame (Dr.) Adaora Umeoji, OON, Group Managing Director of Zenith Bank Plc, and opening remarks by Jim Ovia, CFR, Founder and Chairman of Zenith Bank, among other exciting events.

Additionally, His Excellency Sen. Kashim Shettima, the vice president of Nigeria, and His Excellency Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, the governor of Lagos State, will offer a message of goodwill.

Renowned Strategy & Digital Implementation Specialist Robin Speculand will give the keynote presentation, “Banking Transformation in a Digital World.” Presentations will be given by other well-known IT professionals who work for leading international companies.

Among them are Rupert Nicolay, Director, Microsoft Worldwide Financial Services; Jania Okwechime, Partner, Africa, AI & Data, Deloitte; and Danillo McGarry, Global Expert in Digital Transformation & AI.

Key industry participants from well-known tech companies including Microsoft, Oracle, CyberSoc, IBM, Google, Huawei, and Amazon Web Services will guide the seven (7) distinct classes that make up the masterclass.

In order to improve many facets of human existence, the Zenith Bank Tech Fair seeks to educate people about and encourage their use of developing technologies.

The event consists of:

  1. A Zecathon where tech enthusiasts and startups can showcase their creative tech solutions. The Bank will award funds and other support to the most significant proposals.
  2. Presentations by prominent tech executives from throughout the world.
  3. Tech shows featuring top IT firms, Fintechs, and startups.
