Elon Musk reportedly set to publish the first book he wrote about his electric vehicle producing company, Tesla. The book is titled the Power Play: Tesla, Elon Musk, and the Bet of the Century. A Wall Street Journalist shared Elon Musk’s story — about his untold intent to replace Tim Cook as Apple’s chief executive.
According to a forthcoming book, he converses with Apple’s current chief executive via the phone — Tim Cook suggested Tesla would be more productive as Apple’s subsidiary (since the iPhone maker has intent to expand its services in producing EV).
Cook and Musk’s conversation via the phone had happened five years ago — at the time Elon Musk told Cook he wanted to replace him as the chief executive of Apple inc. Tim Cook was offended by Elon Musk’s proposal — he used vulgar slang to end the call.
Just as this rumor spread viral, Elon Musk also known as Technoking went to his social media — he shared a tweet that reportedly denied being friends with Apple’s CEO. Although Technoking proposed to meet up with Tim Cook to discuss possible acquisition which Apple’s CEO declined.
Both billionaires agreed they never initiated any means of communication. Still, Technoking (Musk’s new title instead of the regular CEO) insisted he reached out to Apple — “there was a point where I requested to meet with Cook to talk about Apple buying Tesla. There were no conditions of acquisition proposed whatsoever.”
At the time, Tesla’s worth 6 percent of its current value — Tim Cook acknowledged Technoking and the business he administers. Still, Apple’s CEO denies having spoken to Elon Musk about anything related to an acquisition or his forthcoming book.
Meanwhile, Elon Musk accused Tim Higgins (a Wall Street Journal reporter) of broadcasting the Technoking shared fake stories in his book — he also said “Power Play” is a boring book, Elon Musk said this in his tweet.
According to Musk, a ghostwriter composed the content of his book. Higgins didn’t agree with Technoking’s excuse because Power Play gave Elon Musk an opportunity to “comment on the stories, facts, and characterizations presented in these pages,” Higgin said.
“As detailed in POWER PLAY, this is a story that was told inside Tesla as the company struggled with the Model X, according to people who heard it, and as some hoped for a white knight to save the day. Musk’s message was clear: Tesla’s fate was in their own hands,” Higgins continued
Apple was officially consented to comment on Elon Musk’s claims before Higgins published his findings of Elon Musk’s intent to be the next Apple chief executive. Higgins also declined requests to comment about revealing in-depth facts about Tesla’s Power Play.
Elon Musk also tweeted about Apple’s and Epic lawsuits — his tweet depicts he is against the Apple App Store fee that appears to be a tax expected of global users to oblige.
