Chinese mobile phone manufacturer, TECNO has in what could be termed a great advancement in innovation technology announced a telescopic macro lens that would not only improve the quality of macro shots but will the entire experience of taking them.

This is not the first time TECNO will be coming with such innovation as  it late last year teased its sensor-shift IS technology for smartphone cameras. The sensor-shift technology helps to stabilize images with the use of sensor movements to compensate for vibrations instead of using lens movements as in existing cameras.

A telephoto macro lens that extends from the body allows users to take close-up shots without having to get too close to the subject. The lens also offers 5x optical zoom, with TECNO noting that the end result is comparable to the main camera’s, in what can be adjudged as a ‘never seen before’ with the current macro cameras.  A bigger aperture is also assured, a crucial factor for standard photos.

Another notable feature of the macro lens is that the design is very compact and would not need big housing or casing but in the analysis of the features, TECNO failed to provide specifics. The company also fell short of notifying the public when exactly users should expect a TECNO mobile smart phone with the new features but one thing is certain, it will be released this year, 2022.

The TECNO brand, a subsidiary of Transsion Holdings has largely beamed the focus of its business on the African and the South Asian markets and has shown over the years its commitment to bringing continuous innovation, developing professional cameras for photography and videography, and empowering consumers to express their lifestyles through the power of the future lens.

The company has over the years strengthened the power of mobile cameras through innovation, while providing users with technology upgrades comparable to professional camera lenses.

The telescopic macro lens will give users the leverage to “Dive into the Macro World”, while using the large aperture and continuous lossless zoom to explore the fantastic world of macro. Users can with the use of the telescopic macro lens, for example capture the crystals on a snowflake, the individual furs around a cat’s paws, and details of everyday life like beer bubbles and latte art.

This in essence promises for users better quality for profile and telephotograph, together with its multi-purpose functionality.
