The Online Group Of Hackers “Anonymous” Declare War On ISIS After Paris Attacks

Following this last weekend’s deadly Paris attack which left hundreds injured and dead, the government of France led by its President Mr. Francois Hollande called it an act of war. Following that declaration, French Jets started bombing ISIS strongholds in Syria particularly Raqqa. But the government may be getting more help from an unlikely source; Anonymous. Anonymous is an international group of activists and hackers. They have often come been at logger heads with authorities even though they say they are a group of ethical hackers with an aim to expose evil especially on the internet. According to Hacker News, “Anonymous from all over the world will hunt you down. Expect massive cyber attacks. War is declared. Get prepared.”

“You should know that we will find you, and we will not let you go. We will launch the biggest operation ever against you,” the Anonymous spokesperson added. “The French people are stronger than you and will come out of this atrocity even stronger.” Even if you don’t understand French, you can see some inscriptions on the video which suggest that they are sympathetic to the plight of the French people.

From Asia to Africa and the Western world, Terrorism is now a major problem which has proved difficult for governments to tackle. All ideas to fight these groups are welcome and maybe if bombs cannot do it, the internet may.
