According to reports by Data Reportal, about 92.4% of internet users in Nigerian access the internet through their smart mobile devices. By 2025 this number is expected to exceed 140 users, this demonstrates the growing need for broadband services within the country. In a bid to ease the burden of accessing/sharing digital content for Nigerians, technology company Smart Media4U introduces a transmission-oriented utility app called SHAREit Lite, with the aim to smoothen the process of the near-distance peer-to-peer file transfer.

As internet users continue to grow, exploring tangible benefits of digital inter-connectivity would also continue to be in great demand. Sharing of files such as images, videos, music, movies, comedy shows, and other entertaining content is expected to skyrocket proportionally with user growth. The need to mitigate the growing demand and easy file transfer needs for users across Nigeria and Africa has created a vital opportunity for emerging developers.

SHAREit Lite is a type of application laced with unique features that allow users to transfer files in the most seamless and flexible way at high-speed transmission. SHAREit  Lite allows the transfer of files across platforms, whether it’s Android or iOS devices or via the Web, users are guaranteed that all file types would be sent speedily without barriers on the App. As the name implies, SHAREit Lite provides a much lighter and convenient file-sharing route for users by condensing its numerous features into an APK-Lite app to maximize the running efficiency, speedy file transfer, and ultimately save time.

Currently, in Nigeria the number of mobile phone users is about 100 million and Andriod phones are the most preferred with a market share of about 88.47%, this huge number of users require digital solutions daily to satisfy the need to transfer files efficiently. The high cost of the internet and low internet accessibility in certain locations and other day-to-day issues are things SHAREit Lite hopes to solve through its app within the shortest time possible.

With this app users are guaranteed faster and simpler options to share files and enjoy digital content of the highest possible quality transferred with zero data. With its condensed solution, SHAREit Lite takes away the pain associated with heavy and lengthy file-sharing by enabling a smaller easy-to-use APK that can easily be downloaded. The app is also accompanied by a file manager that cleans junk content and resolves problems associated with low storage on Andriod phones especially.

SHAREit is currently available on the Play Store and App Store for users who would want to share files like images, videos, games, etc within their network.
