According to Mr. Robert Ngeru, Vice President of Samsung Electronics East and Central Africa, Samsung is investing heavily on R&D to ensure that customers get genuine premium mobile devices thus the release of Galaxy Note 3 Neo:
“We have realized that most of our premium customers are now demanding multi-sim enabled smart phones given the varied mobile networks in Kenya. We understand that consumers want more variety. A mobile device keeps them connected to work, family and friends, and many prefer to have 2 simcards to separate social and work life. By introducing this new addition to our Note Series, we want to provide our consumers with convenience while delivering premium features.”
To ensure that customers continue to buy genuine Samsung mobile devices, Mr. Ngeru said the company had launched a campaign to educate consumers on how to authenticate Samsung Mobile phones bought from dealers countrywide.
“We still urge our customers to take advantage of our e-warranty platform; an SMS based service that allows customers to confirm the genuineness of Samsung mobile products and also register for warranty. To authenticate your Samsung device, send an SMS to 22585 in the format Reg*IMEI number #, for example (Reg*359475637282445#).
The Galaxy Note 3 Neo runs on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean. The handset comes with Samsung’s S Pen stylus, and software features like Air Command Action Memo, Scrapbook, Screen Writer, S Finder, Pen Window, S Note, Multi Window, new Easy Clip, and Direct Pen Input (handwriting support), in addition to all the various features we’ve seen on the Galaxy Note 3.
