This is great news for PlayStation fans not only in the United States but people who buy goods from the US as Sony says it will knock off $50/9,900Naira/5,000 Kenyan Shillings from the original $400/80,000 Naira/41,000 Kenyan Shillings for the PlayStation 4. It is now going to sell for $350/70,000Naira/36,000 Kenyan Shilling instead. This would the make the new price the same as that of Xbox One in the US as well. So this could be a market decision just in time for holiday sales. PS4 and Xbox One both launched in November of 2013 and just a year after that, Sony announced that it had sold 16 million of its newest consoles worldwide with about 1.2 million of those sales made in the black Friday week of 2014.
Microsoft has also recorded a sales increase of 26 per cent when compared with the same month last year.
This might just be a good gift for Christmas. Contact me if you want to buy one for me 🙂
