Another major announcement was on the Samsung Pay which is expected to rival the Apple Pay is going to launch on the 20th of August in Korea and on the 28th of September in the US. Launch dates for other countries was not announced. Samsung may have some catching up to do Apple recently launched in the UK with many more top retailers embracing the payment platform in the United States. Just this past May, Google launched its own Android Pay o rival the Apple Pay as well.
