Everyone has a ton of personal data on his phone nowadays, some of which is critical important. Thus, to keep those data 100% safe is equally important. As to how to do this, there is more than one way. Apple allows their iPhone users to make backups of the iPhones with its iTunes and iCloud software, some other iPhone users who find iTunes or iCloud not easy to use may have other means to backup the data on the iPhones. Using an iOS data recovery software is an easier way to make backups of your iPhone data.

Don’t get puzzled by the term recovery, because as a matter of fact, it is just another way of making backup files, simply due to the fact that most iOS data recovery software products do their jobs by scanning the problematic iPhone and then find the missing or lost data for users to recover from. But in the scanning process, all the data on that iPhone is scanned, not only the lost part, which means you can choose all the data and put them back to your computer. By doing this way, users can keep the data on their iPhones 100% safe.

Next, let’s talk about how to find such a piece of workable and at the same time reliable iOS data recovery software. First of all, you need to decide where you will use it, in other words, do you want to use it on your Mac computer, or Windows based computer. Most of such software vendors have two versions designed for these two distinct OS platforms, but remember, this is not always the case. So, make sure the one you are looking for works on your computer before spending your time and money on it. Also remember to check the specific OS versions that software actually supports, because there are some which do not support the aged OS like Windows XP and earlier, or Mac OS X 10.5 and earlier.

Then, the next thing to check out is whether or not the iPhone modal and iOS version your iPhone modal is running on are supported by the software. In a similar way, if it is a very old iPhone or very earlier version of iOS build, it might be not supported. But relax, according to my very own experience, 90% of the iOS data recovery software do support all the iPhone models and iOS versions, like DVDFab iFoneRestore, which very handy but super powerful in its field. You just need to make double sure. Isn’t it? http://www.dvdfab.cn/ifonerestore-for-mac.htm

Thirdly, before making the final decision, take some time to test the software, or at the very least go through the webpage carefully, just to make sure it can recover the data you care about. Generally, an iOS data recovery software should be able to recover Contacts, Messages, Call History, Notes, Calendar Items, Reminders, WhatsApp and Safari Bookmarks by scanning the iPhone directly. It is highly recommended to run a quick test to see if it works as advertised, after all, you will have to shield out quite amount of money on it. Good luck!
