Nintendo unveiled its new hybrid gaming console Switch last October but now we know it will be available worldwide on the 3rd of March 2017. In the North American region, the console will be available for $299.99 and won’t feature any region locking software which means you will be able to buy gaming software from just anywhere in the world. There will be a paid online subscription service as well. The new console will launch with a small game collection called 1-2 Switch.
The console is a sharp departure from traditional gaming consoles in that the main console is contained in a tablet which you can use as mobile gaming device (such as a PSP) or connect to the TV via a dock. The 6.2 inch display tablet battery life can last up to 6 hours (from 2.5 hours) of course depending on the graphics of each game.
