Microsoft is currently busy with its yearly conference and this year’s tagged Microsoft Build 2021. The company has announced new changes for its Teams at the conference and while people are expecting big news about a new Windows to be announced at the conference, the tech giant is preparing a separate event where there will be discussions about its operating system.
During his keynote speech at the Microsoft Build 2021 conference, the company’s CEO; Satya Nadella threw intimations about an upcoming operating system. It is there plausible to say that the company may have plans on revealing the next generation of its Windows operating system at this separate event.
“Soon we will share one of the most significant updates to Windows of the past decade to unlock greater economic opportunity for developers and creators. I’ve been self-hosting it over the past several months, and I’m incredibly excited about the next generation of Windows. Our promise to you is this: we will create more opportunity for every Windows developer today and welcome every creator who is looking for the most innovative, new, open platform to build and distribute and monetize applications. We look forward to sharing more very soon”, the company’s CEO said during his keynote speech.
Microsoft recently confirmed that the company would no longer ship its Windows 10X. Windows 10X is an operating system built for dual-screen, and mentioned that it will bring the best features of the Windows 10X operating system to the main version of Windows 10.
There have been rumours flying around that Microsoft is working on a new app store for Windows. The company is also rumoured to be working on making important changes to the UI design of its Windows 10 operating system.
Adding all these up, the tech giant might really have some surprise up its sleeves.
