2020 has been just a year, and we have manifested a few crucial technological advancements. However, 2021 has brought magnificent updates and explorations in the field of technology. One of them is the announcement of Windows 11’s launch date.

Yes, Windows 11 is going to hit the floor after testing the compliance and compatibility with devices. That’s why Microsoft has announced the first Windows Insider program for Windows 11 build on 28 June 2021. Additionally, Microsoft has declared the system requirements for testing out the Windows 11 build. Developers can easily sign up for the beta program of Windows Insider and test the version.

Interestingly, Microsoft has kept the system requirements minimised for hardware and software components of Windows PCs. And, the Windows 11 perspective looks fresher and attractive. Let’s find out more details regarding easing system requirements for Windows 11.

What are the Basic System Requirements for Windows 11?

Microsoft offers the preview build of Windows 11, and it’s currently available under Windows Insider Program. Windows 11 hasn’t yet been released for every Windows user. Still, developers can get early access to Windows 11 preview builds for testing the features and fix the bugs of the build. Experts of Xbox One repair near me have confirmed that one must be a part of the Windows Insider Program for installing the build.

The main objective of releasing the Windows 11 preview build is to examine the operating system’s compatibility across different CPU structures. That’s why Microsoft has kept the requirements as minimum as possible. Therefore, the operating system version can be tested completely on diverse CPU models. Furthermore, the manufacturer can decide the minimum system requirements as per the performance derived from the current scenarios.

So, what are the minimum requirements? Well, there are only some basic demands from Windows 11. The CPU might not be specific at all. Here is what you need to discover about system requirements:

  • The processor should be a GHz with two cores on 64-bit architecture. The frequency can be greater than that, as well as the cores might increase.
  • Moreover, the minimum requirement for RAM is 4 GB.
  • Additionally, the system should have a storage space of 64 GB or more.
  • The Trusted Platform Module should be of version 2.0.
  • And, the system firmware should be of UEFI configuration and Secure Boot capable.
  • The display should be greater than 9-inch along with a 720p HD resolution.
  • Finally, you’ll require a stable internet connection for installing Windows 11 build. Ensure that you have a working Microsoft account, as well.

What are those Compatible PCs for Windows 11?

As per Microsoft officials, Windows 11 would run uninterruptedly on PCs with 8th-Gen Intel processors. In addition, AMD Zen 2 processors are also a perfect choice for Windows 11. Both these processors successfully match security, flexibility, and compatibility measures for Windows 11. However, the testing of Windows 11 is not restricted to only two of these.

That’s why Microsoft has eased up the system requirements for the operating system version. The manufacturer also wishes to inspect the compatibility of Intel 7th-Gen processors with Windows 11 closely. The same applies to the AMD Zen 1 processors. The company is hopeful that some of them might support Windows 11.

Want to Load Windows 11 Preview Builds on your Computer?

If you’re a developer and want to test the Windows 11 builds on your PC, then make sure that the PC should meet the requirements. Check the BIOS settings to ensure that everything is fine with the hardware requirements, such as Secure Boot and TPM ones. After you have double-checked everything, here’s what you need to do with the Insider Program.

Process of Registering on Windows Insider

It’s the only way to install the Windows 11 build. And, your PC should have Windows 10. Here’s what you need to follow:

  • Go to Settings. Check out Update & Security.

  • Then, you have to link a Microsoft account, and you have to go with the Dev channel. Otherwise, it won’t sign you up as a Windows 11 user.
  • Click on Confirm and choose the Restart option at your convenience.

Windows 11 Installation

After you have restarted your PC, you can expect the PC to install Windows 11 builds. Here are the dedicated ways:
