Software giant – Microsoft is planning a special event later this month to discuss the subject “the future of work with AI”. The company will also be using the opportunity to show off how its ChatGPT-like AI and how functions in Office applications like Teams, Word, and Outlook.  The company is expected to detail how it’s going to integrate technology from ChatGPT maker OpenAI into its Office productivity suite. The special event happening on March 16 at 8 AM PT / 11 AM ET will be streamed live and will feature Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella and head of Microsoft 365 Jared Spataro as hosts of this presentation.

Microsoft was planning an AI event for March to demonstrate how its new ChatGPT-like AI could change its Office productivity tools, according to The Verge last month. It’s time to explore where Microsoft will take the Prometheus Model in the working world after announcing and showcasing it in its new Bing search engine last month. The new Bing capabilities are also available from Microsoft Edge and Skype.

Back in January, The Information reported that GPT models from OpenAI have been explored in Outlook to enhance search results, along with functionality for suggesting email answers and Word document integration enhance user writing. Today, Microsoft released a new generative CoPilot AI experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Viva Sales that generates sales emails using the Azure OpenAI Service. Right now, Microsoft appears to be set to go all-in on Artificial Intelligence this 2023 without the option of looking back at all.

In a bid to share its vision with the world, the company invites everyone to participate in this special event, as it promises to enlighten the audience on “how AI will power a whole new way of working for every person and business.” We employ you all to stay tuned on our page as we’ll be bringing you all the updates from Microsoft’s work AI event on March 16th.
