Microsoft Build Conference 2022 Set To Happen On May 24th–26th

The stage is set for Microsoft Build Conference 2022, the annual developers’ conference. Much similar to the past two Builds conferences hosted by the company, this year’s conference is set to debut from May 24th to May 26th virtually. The Microsoft Build event was last held live in Seattle, but as a result of the pandemic in 2020 the event was forced to go virtual, and once again the event is going digital for 2022. The reasons are to have more global reach while considering safety measures and the spread of the virus.

Microsoft has promised to make some significant changes this year. There would be the inclusion of “market-specific content” for participants in France, Germany, Japan, Latin America, and the UK. Previous Build conferences have been US-centric, but the 2022 event will be offering exclusive analysis and news for specific regions around the globe. With repeated sessions, Microsoft already does a good job catering to multiple time zones, and this year’s Build will kick off with the annual keynote on May 24th at 8:30 AM PT / 11:30 AM ET.

At last year’s event, participants witnessed a tease of Windows 11 by the technology giant, as well as the opening up of Microsoft Teams to apps, and the showcase of an AI-powered autocomplete for code using GPT-3. Expectations are so high for the year 2022, we’re expecting most Windows news at an event next week, but there’s still room for plenty of developer-focused announcements.

Microsoft will open reservations for Build 2022 in late April. The event is free and runs from May 24th to 26th.
