Mdundo Music reveals its business statistics that documented the number of users active on Mdundo streaming more afro pop music and other genres of music. Kenya’s audio streaming Music statistics remarked a 70% spike in streaming activities which also bolstered “Mdundo Music stocks listed on the Danish Exchange.” The majority fraction of Mdundo’s active Music streamers of afro pop hail from Nigeria.

The audio streamer’s Music performance reportedly met up with the budgeted twenty million active streamers on an MoM basis. Mdundo Music recorded more by an additional three hundred thousand active streamers – 44.1% of active streamers on Mdundo Music are Nigerians. Mdundo could boast of nineteen million active streamers per month, now the Kenyan-owned music streaming app clocks 20.3 million active streamers in Africa.

It’s a no-brainer that the African music industry is lively because of the multiple talented afro-pop singers hailed from Nigeria seconded by South Africa.

The audio streaming Music in Nigeria records five million monthly active streamers, seconded by its South African operations and followed by Tanzania, Uganda, Ghana, Cote d’Ivoire, Angola, Zambia, DR Congo, and other countries. Mdundo Music seems to be penetrating the West African marketplace exhibiting the Nigerian influence. Mdundo Music also indulged in endorsing ambassadorship and musicians in its existing markets – this sold more streams in the Nigerian market.

Mdundo’s penetration in Nigeria is influenced by the massive digital inclusion thriving in Nigeria, and other significant commercial regions of Africa.

The audio streaming platform Head of Brand Partnerships, Rachel Karanu shared an epistle of delight to have penetrated 41.1% of the Nigerian market. Karanu said Mdundo Music needs to dive deeper into the Nigerian market to rival pre-existing Music streaming platforms trending in the Nigerian market such as Spotify, Apple Music, Boomplay, etc. Mdundo’s Karanu revealed more plan diagrams to achieve more than twenty-five million active streamers by 2023.

Karanu said the audio streaming music is schemed to offer streamers “high-quality reach in the mass-market audience that is hard to reach as effectively for the cost through other marketing channels. In addition, their Brand Lift tool provides us partners with insights into the behavior of our target customers, both on and off the platform because of how closely their audience mirrors the actual market allowing for effective campaigns.”

Mdundo Music’s Head of Brand Partnerships has pushed the Kenyan-based music streaming app to be widely recognized outside its local marketplace. Kenya’s Mdundo Music has strategically partnered with investors to promote its music streaming app across significant markets in Africa such as Nigeria, Tanzania, South Africa, Ghana, Rwanda, Malawi, Cote d’Ivoire, and others.

“The Mdundo platform offers our clients high-quality reach in the mass-market audience that is hard to reach as effectively for the cost through other marketing channels. In addition, their Brand Lift tool provides us partners with insights into the behavior of our target customers, both on and off the platform because of how closely their audience mirrors the actual market allowing for effective campaigns.” – Commented by Mdundo’s partner, Saracen Media Limited.

The audio streaming Music has reportedly kept track of precise user activity to attract premeditated active streamers across its existing market – a deployable marketing strategy with insights about streamers’ behavior. Several partnership deals with Mdundo Music have bolstered its endorsement penetration in Africa as well as sponsoring musicians and ambassadors outside Mdundo’s Music platform.

It is worth noting that the regulators in the western community will have sued Mdundo Music for tracking users’ data if streamers are not aware of Mdundo’s ad activities. The African regulatory system has a vast policy structure to explore in the African digital ecosystem to ascertain the appropriate application of regulatory policies.
