The much-anticipated Christmas shopping season is here again and Jumia is offering promotional sales to its esteemed customers.  It made the announcement on their official website.

The online shop has rolled out its deals, ranging from gadgets to other daily needs. For the first time, there’s a lottery where huge prizes are to be won on a daily basis. On the first day of the event, are flight tickets to Europe for bonanza; on November 20th is a Samsung 40-inch HD TV; on December 4th, is an LG Home Theatre System and a brand new Ford Figo for the December 13th winner. How awesome!

Jumia did not give conditions to qualify one for a winner- if one has to be a member or something else. All we know is that lots of freebies are underway.

Jumia says it will be the largest shopping event in Nigeria with up to one million amazing deals with discounts up to 80% off of products. This shopping event is in partnership with Intel, Pampers, Infinix, Philips, Fero, HP, MTN, AirFranc-KLM and many other top brands. So, the discount offers are not sugar-coated. This is the season where people gift their friends and loved ones with items, so, this could be a great time for you.

As part of its exclusive deals, for the first time ever, the Black Friday event will feature a musical concert and this is in partnership with Naija, a music entertainment TV station. It will be happening live in Lagos at the King’s College ground in Victoria Island. Attendance for this is free, but you can’t bump in because registration is required.

Speaking on customer expectation as regards the jumbo event, the Chief Executive Officer, Juliet Anammah stated that Jumia is set to beat the expectations of shoppers as the inventory is not limited to gadgets. The items on display cut across categories including fashion, electronics, home, baby, health, beauty, travel, and food, with up to 80% discount on almost 1 million products with over fifteen thousand vendors. There is no better time to get the best deal than now.

Jumia also promises to gift customers who download the app with special vouchers and access to flash sales, as well as instant notifications when deals go live. Although this isn’t restricted to those who won’t download the app. If you drop your details on their site, you will automatically be in the queue for instant notifications.
