Review: Ivacy Is A Top VPN Choice For Just About Anything From Security To Entertainment

VPN usage has been on the rise in the last few years. Much of this is due to an alarming growth in cybercrime rates. For a long time, VPNs were only used to unblock websites but now they are the ultimate tool to safeguard against hacking and data leaks. However, one important question that still troubles most users is which application is best?

The answer to that question is subjective. Here we take a look at one of the tools that we found was worth talking about. It’s called Ivacy.

Cybersecurity at its best

Ivacy was launched in 2007 and in a short span of time; it has made a sound reputation for itself being featured on platforms like TechCrunch and Mashable. One of the reasons for this are the sophisticated cybercrime prevention features that it offers. With Ivacy you get up to 256-bit end-to-end encryption, more than 1000 servers in 100+ countries to hide your IP address and multiple protocol support for enhanced safety.

A great thing about this app is that it focuses a lot on public Wi-Fi security because these are the connections that are most vulnerable but people fail to realize that. Ivacy’s ‘Internet Kill Switch’ severs your internet connection if the VPN stops functioning for any reason. This effectively eliminates any loopholes that a potential hacker may exploit.

All your entertainment needs, fulfilled

Despite offering state-of-the-art data leak prevention, it’s not like Ivacy compromises on providing users with their fill of entertainment-based features. The Smart Purpose Selection allows you to optimize the VPN for unblocking Netflix USA or other regions from anywhere in the world. This opens access to the best content. Moreover, Ivacy helps defeat ISP throttling with no bandwidth restrictions of its own.

Affordable pricing

Now you may be wondering that there has to be a catch! All these features should come with a relatively high price tag. Fortunately, the answer to that is “No”. In fact, Ivacy is one of the more affordable options among the top tier services.

The monthly package starts at just $9.95 a month. The one-year plan for Ivacy brings the monthly cost down to just $3.33 and if you were to pick the two-year plan, that’s just $1.99. Prices are charged upfront but that isn’t a big deal because two years’ worth of internet freedom at just $48 is insane. Ivacy also offers seasonal and periodic discounts so you can save even more on specific occasions.

Support for a wide range of platforms

You can protect as many as 5 devices on one subscription. Ivacy provides support for a wide variety of devices. From Mac to Windows to Linux, from iOS to Android to Blackberry, even gaming consoles like Xbox and PS4 have their own dedicated apps. And it doesn’t stop there. You can even get Ivacy for your smart TV, Wi-Fi routers and also Kodi.

Conclusion

There are a number of VPN services available both free and paid. The real test here is to tell which app is the most credible because after all, you have to trust it with your online privacy. We can wholeheartedly endorse Ivacy to get the job done without any complaints.
