Instagram announced that they now have over 400 million users. This is quite huge considering where they were in July. Facebook released some figures for its platforms and services just this past July and as you can see from the image below, the Instagram user base was put at 300 million.
More than 75% of Instagram users are based outside the United States. Among the last 100 million to join, more than half live in Europe and Asia. The countries that added the most Instagrammers include Brazil, Japan and Indonesia. They went on to reveal that over 80 million photos are shared daily on Instagram.
