Instagram says it will be adding more style and fun to live videos and live stories video with their new filter feature rolling out soon.
Instagram which has implemented nearly all major Snapchat features said the filters will be a superimpose digital graphic like-filters which will have sunglasses on your face, dog nose on your nose , shining cool background that can be changed to suit the user’s desire and add fun to their daily live video and stories videos and will disappear after 24 hours.
The stories feature and the photo filter were both pioneered by Snapchat and since been copied by top social media Facebook to its major Apps like WhatsApp, Messenger and now Instagram.
Instagram in a blog post said these features will be available globally in the coming weeks. They explained further that “To use face filters in live video, tap the face icon in the bottom right corner before or during your broadcast. Tap any filter to check out a new look, and play around with as many as you’d like. You can also try on the new sunglasses face filter — available exclusively in live video for the next week — and tap to change the scenery reflected in your lenses”.
Also once the video ends the users can either choose to ‘share’ the video on stories or simply click on ‘delete’ the video and the video will permanently deleted from the App.
