HiiT To Empower About 2,500 Nigerian Graduates With Skills For Job Placements

Just recently, the HiiT Plc issued scholarships to qualified Nigerian students who are undergraduate worth over N20 million. The IT Training firm is also projecting another empowerment program to to equip some Nigerian graduates with the skills needed to take on the today and tomorrow’s jobs.

The ICT firm announced that the empowerment program is the company’s means to give back to the society in empowering the youths of Nigeria to embrace education as part of their accomplishments in celebrating the Nigerian 60th independence centenary.

As stated by the HiiT Plc, the availability of job sets for entire Nigeria will require less than 60 candidates representing each state from all the 36 states in Nigeria not leaving the federal capital behind, Abuja will also be eligible to participate in the projected employment program.

Eventually, there are terms and conditions applied to qualify. The HiiT Plc gives an opinion advising candidates who must be graduates and not over the age of 35 years, to pay a visit to the company’s web site to get more information about the requirements needed to be qualified for the program which will also be fair in selecting qualified candidates as they said it will be on a “first come first served” basis.

The HiiT Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Kayode Shobajo, stated that roughly 60 percent discount would be granted exclusively for ICT courses.

Mr. Kayode Shobajo said: “To be able to qualify for a discount voucher, all a graduate need do is to visit the website or scan a QR code that is visibly displayed on the website. The discount voucher offer will close on October 10 and will be valid for a period of one year.”

“some of the courses that will be on offer on the program include Certificate in Digital Literacy, Digital Marketing, Certified Ethical Hacker, Graphic Design, Python Programming, Web Design, Java Programming, Data Analysis, Microsoft Excel (Advanced) and CompTIA N+. Others include JavaScript Programming, Python for Data Science, Cloud Computing, and PHP Programming, among others.”

The HiiT Chief Executive Officer emphasized the enormous success the firm has achieved, especially the success achieved in recently. He also mentioned the successful scholarship program organized for Nigerian universities undergrads, which was inspired as its contribution to mitigate the effect of the unpredicted COVID-19 pandemic. He described their good deeds as a simple task of giving back to society.

Mr. Kayode Shobajo unveiled that the HiiT online training platform has a pre-installed instructor-led training paired with other training approaches such as slides, videos, whiteboards, interactive classes, and simulation labs to impart knowledge strictly based on Information Technology skills, which are hihly needed in today’s world.
