Microsoft‘s second ignite conference for this year will be held this week, and if you are into the Microsoft space, it’s an event not to miss. Key individuals who will speak at the event include Microsoft’s Executives Satya Nadella, Vasu Jakkal, Scott Guthrie, James Phillips, Alysa Taylor, Jared Spataro, Judson Althoff, amongst others.

The upcoming conference will include product demos, question and answer sessions with Microsoft experts, training sessions, and more. In store is a stack of opportunities to learn, connect, and create; here’s an overview:

Learning Zone: The learning Zone focuses on acquiring important skills such as cloud skills and tech skills; on exams based on expert-guided sessions, step-by-step modules, certification details, and more. Everyone —from experienced professionals to students, can benefit from immersive, interactive experiences and skill-boosting sessions available in the Learning Zone.

Connection Zone: This zone avails the opportunity to meet with local Microsoft leaders and channel managers, interact with engineers and technical experts, join live questions and answer sessions, and more.

Create Zone: Here, participants get to create personalized content, such as animated selfies, that’s designed to help them share their point of view, and spark conversations in the #MSIgnite community.

There will also be many innovative sessions that have been designed to help customers connect with experts to get answers to questions related to deploying and managing Microsoft technologies. Here are some eye-catching ones:

Empower everyone for a new world of hybrid work —This session will be delivered by Jared Spataro, Microsoft 365’s Corporate Vice President, on Tuesday the 2nd of November, from 4:55 PM to 5:20 PM, West African Standard Time. Microsoft Teams: Thrive with hybrid work —This session will be delivered by Nicole Herskowitz, the General Manager of  Microsoft Teams and M365 Platform, on Tuesday the 2nd of November, from 8:30 PM to 9:05 PM West African Standard Time. The session will explore the upcoming landscape for Microsoft Teams, and outline why Microsoft Teams is the place to be for hybrid work.

Enabling inclusive hybrid meetings with Microsoft Teams and Teams devices —This session has three speakers; Ilya Bukshteyn, Caroline Stanford and  Amber Waisanen. It will explore some of the latest features coming to Microsoft Teams, Teams devices (including Surface Hub), and Microsoft 365, which are designed to support the diverse needs and work styles of employees.

What’s new in Microsoft Teams management and security: The speakers of this session are Ronit Ben Sheffer and John Gruszczyk. This session will explore some of the latest updates across Teams management and security, including several new capabilities that can help individuals better manage and protect their Teams collaboration environment.

There are many other sessions, including Teams Phone, Teams bots, Microsoft Viva, Azure Communication Services and more. The event, which will be held virtually, starts on the 2nd of November 2021 and ends on the 4th. Time is 4:00 PM West African Standard Time. You can apply here.
