It’s been a hard and crazy time for HBO since the release of Game of thrones (GoT) episodes by hackers who had some days ago said they were going to do so if they didn’t receive a ransom payment. Facing challenges from hackers, the company is making plans to stop the leaks and tackle hackers and random threats from various and anonymous persons threatening the release of the TV series episodes. The big threat they faced recently is that a group of hackers were able to break into the TV Company’s Twitter, and Facebook accounts.

In a message which was sent to HBO by ourMine which reads. “Hi, our mine are here, we are just testing your security, HBO team please contact us to upgrade the security-ourmine.org.” This is the message the hackers left on both HBO social media accounts on Facebook and Twitter.

In the past the ourMine broke into the Twitter accounts of Netflix, Sony and marvel , and it didn’t stop there they also broke into the Twitter accounts of Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg, Twitter CEO jack Dorsey, niantic head John hanke and Evans Williams, the co-founder and former CEO of Twitter , the ourMine has been known in the past as a good hacker group and they will not stop until they has cracked open any site they set their mind in and that’s displeasing.

According to Variety, in addition to taking over the account HBO, the Twitter account of the Game of Thrones was also tampered with and its seems the hackers’ aim is to completely take over the GoT Twitter and Facebook accounts, but in the report which explained by the HBO spokesman which a reads “HBO managed to scrub the offending tweets shortly after it was tweeted” with the earlier release of the GoT which was broadcast four days before its original scheduled telecast.

The original episodes was reportedly available on demand to subscribers by HBO Spain for one hour before it was pulled down by the team as reported. And lots of site like YouTube, Instagram, Twitch and other streaming services were reported streaming footage of the episode six of the popular fantasy drama.

Game of thrones fans are really happy with the early release of the episode of the season 7 but some of them have no idea that the episode was being leaked by hackers.
