Google Set To Launch The Pixel Watch & Pixel 7 On October 6th

Google Pixel 7 and Pixel Watch will debut at Google event October 6 | Tom's Guide

Google showcased both the Pixel Watch and the future Pixel 7 phones during its I/O event earlier this year, revealing that they will be available in the autumn. Both gadgets will be unveiled at the upcoming event.

Google’s statement came just a day before Apple’s Far Out event, where the iPhone 14 will unveil. Since Google’s most recent event, we have witnessed more leaks than not which have allegedly disclosed even more information about the gadgets, both the Watch and phones are somewhat making their way into people’s hands.

There isn’t much that the leaks have disclosed about the Pixel 7 and 7 Pro that isn’t already known, like the fact that the Pro variant features an aluminium camera bar with two cut-outs on the back. However, given that Android 13 has already begun to roll out on other smartphones, it is not very novel that someone was able to unbox and boot up the phone. According to TheVerge, earlier this year, though, a Redditor got a hold of a prototype Pixel Watch (allegedly, it was left at a restaurant). While it wouldn’t boot, their pictures did give us a better sense of the Watch’s size, as well as how it’ll actually look on the wrist.

The Pixel 7 appears to be a very simple continuation of the previous generation of phones, but the Watch is under some strain, according to its product page on Google’s online shop, it is the “first smartwatch built by Google, inside and out.”  The company’s entry must be capable and at least marginally competitive given that Google’s rivals (particularly Samsung and Apple) have been producing wearables for years. There aren’t many details about it just yet; we don’t even have an idea of what chip it will be built on, but on October 6th, we would find out every detail.
