Google has been all over tech news this week especially with the change of logo and big updates to Google Docs. Now it’s Chrome’s turn. The company announced yesterday that the new version of Chrome will place emphasis on speed and efficiency. Chrome 45will load faster and more importantly use less memory.

Chrome will now do something similar to what Mozilla does such that when you restore, the browser will open the recently looked at tabs for you to get back to work faster. The difference between this and the Mozilla one is that in Mozilla, it’s a tab at a time meaning you would have to click on the tabs you want to look at.

Chrome continues to be the most popular browser. You can see the results of one of our findings on browsers here.
