Facebook has announced yet another tool that may come in handy when you are going through a relationship breakup. This comes after the social media giant also made it easy for people to stop or disallow bad memories from popping up in their newsfeed from its “on this day” feature.
The new feature announced by Kelly Winters who is a product manager at Facebook will work in three simple ways;
Limit or even stop your ex from seeing you Facebook
Limiting how much of them you see
Finally, it will limit how much other people (including mutual friends) can see regarding your past relationship.
So basically, each time you change a relationship status, you see this option.
This is all part of Facebook’s attempt to keep engaging its 1.5 billion strong community. The feature is currently being tested in the United States and may soon roll out to other regions.
