Facebook launched its Rooms app last year. “Rooms” is the “anonymous” app from Facebook that allows you use a username instead of your real name as it is currently on Facebook. It’s a standalone app that allows you a mobile-only-in-app discussions about topic of your choice.
Facebook now has an upgrade for the iOS version of this app. You can now add photos and videos in your comments and messages. In addition to this, developers can now pin posts to the top of a chat room. Blocked and unblocked users can also be pinned to the top of a room. We also hear about interface redesign as well.
You should be able to get this update from the App store soon. There is currently no Android version of the Facebook Room app.
