Elon Musk Wants To Upgrade Our Brains With AI So That Machines Don’t Cheat Us In Future

Elon Musk, a tech billionaire is doing some amazing things and proposed some others want to now link out brains with artificial intelligence so that robots don’t cheat us in the “inevitable” future of robots.

To understand just how crazy thus might be, you have to at least know some of the ideas this man has proposed in the past. Perhaps biggest of them is taking humans to the red planet Mars in a trip that could cost you $200,000.

He also proposed the Hyperloop mode of transportation which is now getting some serious attention in the world with Dubai set to become the first city to apply the system.

The man is also the main proponent of the Solar roof idea which in a nut shell replaces the solar panels you would have had to put on your roof. These are just some of the most notable ideas he has brought forward in the past and now to the idea of linking our brains with computers.

Elon Musk is founding a new comp any called Neuralink which will explore ways in which our brains combined with artificial intelligence (AI) through the help of implanted electrodes will stand up to machines in future. But the idea is still at its early stages and requires a lot of work and probably government regulations to become a real thing.  But the best way to describe this would be through what we have seen in movies like Matrix where humans and machines combined together are able to do some pretty amazing stuff even though Neuralink simply just says the idea could increase our memory capacity or reduce the number of third party devices needed when interacting with machines.

In other words, Elon Musk thinks we can be more intelligent and if this can be achieved, imagine the new doors this can open to us. Did you ever see the movie Limitless? Well it could be on that scale but the part that comes to mind is the accurate prediction of a near future event based on available data.

While Mr. Musk has been hinting at such an idea for some time, we only got to know that he will be using a new company for this which means fresh resources and a new board. In this Facebook video by Recode last year, he hinted at the idea of not allowing robots beat us to everything including jobs which should be of interest to political leaders and that we have to come up with a way to competent their efforts in future of lose out completely.
