As more Ghanaians become more adapt to surfing the internet especially with their smart phones, business organisations in the country are taking advantage of current trend to promote their goods and services online. One of Ghana’s online advertising companies and main online sponsors for the Ghana Black Stars, Cheki.com.gh, this week hosted a special session for dealers in the auto industry in the country as part of efforts to galvanize and motivate them to adopt the use of online advertising to promote their cars.
The event which witnessed the attendance of various stakeholders in the auto industry deliberated on issues affecting their business and opportunities available on the internet which has now become the new avenue for the sale of products and services.
The Chief Executive Officer of Cheki.com.gh, Eric Amoako Twum, explained that his organisation is working assiduously and doing everything possible to make purchasing of cars easy in the country through his outfit’s online platform.
“We interacted with them and explained issues which was not understood by them to them in order to boost the online cars business. It is just the beginning but more of these programs will be organised in the near future to help smoothing things between Cherki and the various garage owners” he said.
Some of the garage owners who were present at the event were visibly excited about the potential benefits of online advertising in the auto sector.
