Tired of using keyboard on your BlackBerry Smartphone? Well the newly unveiled BlackBerry Motion does just that. It is a smartphone from TCL (the Hong Kong based company has a licensing agreement with the Canadian phone maker) with full touchscreen and no keyboard unlike BlackBerry KeyOne.
TCL is showcasing the BlackBerry Motion at the ongoing GITEX tech week holding in Dubai and it will be launched in the Middle East first before other regions and will be priced at $460. Here is the breakdown of its specifications;
BlackBerry Motion, has a code name called Krypton whose image was recently leaked by Evans Blass on Twitter but has now turned into a reality.
The Motion is a mid-ranged device running on Android Nougat 7.1 operating system, it has a huge 4000mAh battery and as claimed by the company, it can run for 24 hours without a charger, the device doesn’t have a bezel-less display like most recent smartphones but it has a 16:9 ratio display aspect.
BlackBerry Motion has a 5.5inch full HD LCD display and is supported by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 chips processor, it has a 4GB RAM on the motherboard with an inbuilt 32GB storage and a 64 storage variant.
The smartphone is IP67 water resistant, the camera is 12 megapixel rear with f/2.0 aperture, an 8 megapixels as the Front camera and its home button has a fingerprint reader for unlocking the device.
Really cool right? If you are in the Middle East and love BlackBerry without the keyboard, this is the right time to get the new BlackBerry Motion as its out and ready to last all day long after first charge.
It’s still sounds weird if you ask me though that BlackBerry phones now run on Google’s Android but the other reality though is that, BlackBerry didn’t really stand a chance against the likes of Google and Apple. Even Microsoft has a tough time in the mobile department.
