Since the macOS 12.2 update, Macbook computer users have continually cried out over a battery drain issue that has prevented them from enjoying the full benefit of the upgrade on their operating system.

Apple, the company producing the product has in its latest iOS update focused its attention on the battery drain issue revealing how the new update has fixed it.

The company had revealed that its latest 12.2.1. version will be laced with critical fixes for “an issue for Intel-based Mac computers that may cause the battery to drain during sleep when connected to Bluetooth peripherals”, and this may have effectively laid to rest the various concerns of its teeming Macbook users.

It would be recalled that many MacBook users had laid serious complaints to Apple about their device’s battery life, voicing out their discontent by saying that their Mac would drain out even when in sleep mood, with it also being completely drained overnights.

It was further discovered by some users that the major cause of the drain is the Bluetooth but other users argued that even if they turned off their Bluetooth settings, the problem remained, causing more confusion to many users.

Apple has now announced that it had worked on a bug related to the Bluetooth issue, that came with the release of updates for iOS, iPadOS, and watch OS this Thursday. The statement by the big tech giant also urged all users operating an iPhone update to 15.3.1 as soon they can.

On the security page of Apple, the company revealed how it also fixed that should be fixed; otherwise, it would leave the device exposed to potential infiltration. Apple Track says that the latest update will also fix a bug with a “braille-related accessibility feature. According to The Verge, the Watch OS 8.4.2. appears to be relatively minor, with Apple not listing any security updates”.

Users who wish to update their Macbook will have to do so by accessing System Preferences, which is followed by Software Update. After the refreshing, the user will receive that the 12.2.1 update is ready to be run and installed by choosing the “Update Now” option and here they have it.
