The city of Cupertino, California yesterday at the Steve jobs theatre witnessed a massive turnout and lots of online live streaming of the unveiling, launching and celebration of the 10th iPhone anniversary. A well spent journey so far and a leap into the greater future as Apple marks 10 years of the iPhone but they sure know how to make an entrance with the unveiling of the long anticipated smartphones of the future iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 plus.
Philip Schiller, Apple’s Senior Vice President of Worldwide Marketing, took to the stage at the annual fall event in Cupertino, California to announce the new iPhones even as he also explained in detail that iPhone 8 has a 4.7 inch display screen while iPhone 8 Plus has a 5.5 inch display screen and that both iPhones has a New A11 bionic chipset which are 6 cores in total and these chips are 70 per cent faster than the previous chips used on the previous iPhones launched last year. He also added that the chips are paired with a new set of graphics processing chips that are about 30 per cent faster than that of the previous iPhones with A10.
The new smartphones both have amazing designs, an unbeatable water and dust resistance, a wonderful tone display, with an upgraded front and rear cameras of 12MP of which it’s lenses will be f/1.8 and f/2.8 apertures and for iPhone 8 it has a dual camera like that of iPhone 7 and the dual camera has a portrait lighting feature that will be used to adjust and set the portrait lighting for different shots.
Apple’s iPhone 8 is the first smartphone that has been designed and configured for augmented reality and the new phones come in 64GB and 256GB storage capacities. The iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 plus has a new mobile OS and that’s the iOS 11 which was previewed June this year.
Apple Inc., during the event announced that pre-order of the iPhones will begin on the 15th of September and the purchase and delivery will commence on the 22nd of September, also added that the price of the iPhones will varies from $699 for iPhone 8 64GB and iPhone 8 plus which is more expensive will go for $799 for its 64GB version.
