MediaTek is expected to be second with 18 percent of the market, while Qualcomm will come third at 3 percent. With the data presented it’s obvious that Apple is well ahead of the competition and the gap is expected to get even wider after Apple’s upcoming event. On Monday, October 18, a second fall keynote event dubbed “Unleashed“ has been slated by Apple hold, the focus of the event is on new Apple Silicon high-end MacBook Pro models and AirPods.

Earlier in September, Strategy Analytics also revealed that the tablet AP market was lead by Apple with a revenue share of over 50 percent by the second quarter of 2021.
