Over the years, technology such as edge, 2G, 3G, 4G and now 5G in test mode, who knows when the 6G will out I guess it will be as fast as bolt. It now looks like Apple now has the permission to test the super fast 5G technology.
Apple plans on using a millimetre wave technology of mm Wave to perform these tests, the approval was given to Apple by the federal communication commission after its application was earlier reviewed and it was given the license to test the 5G technology. In the application specific reference was made for the 28 and 39 GHz bands , the technology will be the next generation wireless technology and it will be tested at Apple office in California at milpitas and Mariana avenue rats reported by the DSL reports.
Apple’s application reads “Apple Inc. seeks to assess cellular link performance in direct path and multipath environments between base station transmitters and receivers using this spectrum. These assessments will provide engineering data relevant to the operation of devices on wireless carriers’ future 5G networks,”
AT&T has started testing 5G Technology in selected areas of Austin and it has plans to roll out the technology in over 20 areas which will be done by the end of the year 3GPP which is a cellular group which has unveiled the 5G logo which has been approved and ready to use, sprint will launch their by 2019 and T-Mobile plans to also launch the 5G by 2020, other companies are making serious arrangements and plans to also announce the launch theirs companies like Samsung, Google , Facebook and LG mobile.
However, it will be good to finally have a new network technology in our mobile device for a fast and more convenient data access , yet to hear which company will finish its testing and the launch will begins , get your mobile devices ready for a speedy internet access with the new 5G. But of course smartphone makers like Apple have to do this so that when the technology is finally released, it’s smartphones will at least be ready for users to have a feel of the 5G network.
