AMD’s Tech Powers Tesla’s Latest In-car Gaming Systems

Tesla revealed AMD’s rig will be stuffed into its Model S & X vehicles infotainment systems. The chipmaker announced this update during its yearly tech keynote — per the initial announcement about Cyberpunk 2077 and the Witcher 3, Technoking’s then said its “10 teraflop gaming rig” will be processed by AMD Radeon tech.

The Teraflop gaming rig is powered by an AMD Ryzen processor paired with an AMD RDNA 2 GPU — a smooth gaming experience is anticipated in line with AMD’s chief executive, Lisa Su 2021 Computex keynote.

“So we have an AMD Ryzen APU powering the infotainment system in both cars as well as a discrete RDNA2-based GPU that kicks in when running AAA games, providing up to 10 teraflops of computing power…” Lisa Projected this tech to visualize another level of gaming experience via its “great platform for AAA gaming.”

Several hints concerning Tesla’s gaming rig powered by AMD’s AAA gaming processors — the 10 teraflop gaming visuals are expected to appear similar to Sony’s PlayStation 5 features.

Social media tech analyst, Patrick Schur, retrieved Tesla’s block diagram — this diagram revealed the EV manufacturer prioritized AMD’s Navi 23 GPU.

The chipmaker then announced its newly developed Radeon 6800M, 6700M, and 6600M laptop graphics chips — these same chips that are powered by 28CUs and 1792 shader units. While compared to Sony’s PS-5, its chips are also powered with 36CUs and 2304 shader units close to RDNA 2 GPU.

Both AMD Radeon and Sony’s PlayStation have similar attributes since their compatibles are built with almost the same number of cores — Sony’s PlayStation also featured the current 10 teraflop gaming rig.

Although, the performance of these gaming platforms is determined by the software that runs it — if it’s responsive enough to compact with the 10 teraflop gaming rig.

According to Tesla’s announcements, Linux had been trying to contact Tesla’s in-car gaming deal, which they might have to develop their gaming software.

Still, Linux cannot boast of the best gaming performance since their software can not beat Google’s Stadia cloud gaming also boasted 10 teraflops of performance powered by AMD GPUs.

Still, critics have questioned Technoking’s latest flash tweak — driving the $80,000 whip while its AAA video gaming is active, how ridiculous! Elon Musk then said his ‘Model S & X’ EV with the latest gaming platform would be available by June 10.
