Book Readers are in for a treat. Technology has found a way to make reading and immersing oneself in an author’s world in a more beautiful way. Amazon is the widely known outlet for internet reading, buying and publishing of books. Amazon on announced Tuesday an all-new Kindle app designed to enhance the efficiency of reading online and also provides faster and easier access to the most popular Kindle features.
A statement by the vice president of kindle–Chuck Moore read– “We’ve built the new Kindle app from the ground up for book lovers, giving readers easy access to everything they might want to do with their books, all in one place.”
Book readers often complain that the feel if reading paperback is more ‘present’ and more ‘original’ so the Kindle app resolved it’s new features, look and feel be inspired by the books. Details include larger book covers, new fonts, a new app icon, and new light and dark background themes depending on the reader’s preference. New bottom bar navigation automatically shows an icon of the book you are reading, making it easier to get back to reading at any moment.
The bottom bar provides an avenue for multitasking, you can perform several task as there is now an option for minimising and switching into various screens like the pages if your book , your library, your own personal bookstore thereby providing you with quick access to Kindle’s most popular features. Chuck Moore added in his statement that “It’s now easier than ever to turn your phone or tablet into a book and immerse yourself in an author’s world at any time,”
Good news for all book readers as they can now access the Kindle app as it is now available in the App Store and Google Play and will be delivered as part of a free, over-the-air update starting this week.
