In this digital era, who needs a security guard when you can monitor your houses and properties with a click of your smartphone and tech-savvy cameras on the walls to help you make various accounts and keep things in check?

Here are the six best wireless security cameras that will help you safeguard your precious belongings.

Here are the six best wireless security cameras that will help you safeguard your precious belongings. #safety #camera Share on X

1) Arlo Ultra

Priced at $399 Arlo Ultra is one of the most expensive security cameras in the market, but one thing that’s for sure is it is worth your money.

The specs are loaded with the latest tech & alluring enough to make you go for it.

Pros:

  • Astonishing 4K UHD video recording.
  • Top of the line color night vision.
  • Boasts AI-Based motion detection and an integrated spotlight.
  • Auto-zoom and motion tracking.
  • Has a full 180degree field of view.
  • Supports virtual assistants such as Alexa, Siri, and Google assistant, also IFTTT.

Cons:

  • Expensive as compared to its competition.
  • Some of its features require a subscription, which might be a big hole in the buyer’s pocket.
  • Requires a hub.

2) Arlo Pro 3

Priced at $499, Arlo Pro 3 is even more expensive than its predecessor and supports a lower 2K HDR video recording, which is still superior as compared to the other cameras in the market, and so are most of its tech loaded features.

Pros:

  • Detailed 2K HDR video recording.
  • Easy to install.
  • Weatherproof
  • Top of the line color night vision.
  • Boasts AI-Based motion detection and an integrated spotlight.
  • Auto-zoom and motion tracking.
  • Has a 160degree field of view.
  • Supports virtual assistants such as Alexa, Siri, and Google assistant, also IFTTT.

Cons:

  • Expensive as compared to its competition.
  • Some of its features require a subscription, which might be a big hole in the buyer’s pocket.
  • Requires a hub.

3) Ring Stick Up Cam Battery

Priced at $99, this sleek cam is my pick for the budget buyers looking for affordable security solutions with enough features to keep your property safe, as accomplished by its motion-triggered recording.

It also can be used both indoors and outdoors, giving it an edge over the other cameras in its range.

Pros:

  • Showcases a 1080p video.
  • Has a 135degree field of view.
  • Supports Amazon’s virtual assistant Alexa, also IFTTT.
  • Easy to install and doesn’t require a hub.
  • Has a siren inbuilt.
  • Capable of motion detection.

Cons:

  • It does not support local storage; hence cloud subscription is required for recorded video.

4) D-Link DCS-8600LH

The D-Link DCS-8600LH is a full HD outdoor wireless camera priced at $149. It is another budget camera with features similar to its counterpart, Ring Stick Light Cam.

Except it also supports sound detection, has a MicroSD card slot for local storage, but with a slightly heftier price tag.

 Pros:

  • Fine 1080p video imagery.
  • Weatherproof.
  • Easy to install.
  • Has a 135degree field of view.
  • Works with other smart devices.
  • Has local storage in addition to the cloud subscription.
  • Capable of both sound and motion detection.
  • Supports virtual assistants such as Alexa and Google assistant, also IFTTT.

 Cons:

  • It lacks Apple HomeKit support.
  • MicroSD card is not included.

5) Ring Spot Light Cam Battery

Priced at $199 Ring Spotlight Cam is a noteworthy addition to this list thanks to its moderate pricing and features such as bright spotlight and motion-triggered recording.

Pros:

  • Supports motion-triggered recording.
  • Easy to install.
  • Has a loud siren.
  • Sharp 1080p video recording
  • Supports virtual assistants such as Alexa, also IFTTT.

 Cons:

  • Does not carry a local storage slot, therefore, making it necessary to subscribe to cloud storage.
  • No, pre-buffering.

6) Nest Cam IQ Outdoor

Lastly, Nest Cam IQ outdoor, priced at $349, is an elegant addition to the list. This one provides you with features no other camera on the list touches like facial recognition and two-way alerts. Due to its such lustrous upgrades in its kitty, nest cam has the upper hand on most of its competitors, but that price tag hits budget buyers below the belt and isn’t any better than Arlo Ultra, which gives it a quite fierce competition.

Pros:

  • State of the art design.
  • 4K live video recording with close-up tracking.
  • Two-way audio with personal alerts.
  • Weatherproof.

Cons:

  • Expensive.
  • One of its attractive features, which is facial recognition, requires extra subscriptions.

Bottom Line

From a regular buyer’s perspective, I would go with Arlo Ultra taking into consideration the various budgetary and technical aspects. It is a complete package, a bit expensive, but it improves your security by a notch. But you should probably start out with your internet safety first, with this source by IP Router Login. Also, if I ever had to catch a thief who broke in, Arlo Ultra would be my best bet for him being seen clearly with the color night vision and 4K imagery in place.

Your security is in your hands, choose wisely.
