As Apple announced new Airpods yesterday, they also talked about new Beats; Solo3 and Powerbeats 3 (the headphone company by Dre they bought for $3b) with wireless capabilities.
The $200 Powerbeats 3 wireless headphone allows up to 12 hours on batteries and is aimed at solving the problems of having to adjust earphones while on a quick run or any other form of workout for that matter.
BeatsX is cheaper than both Solo3 and Powerbeats. It promises 2 hour of playback on five minutes of charging via a Lightning cable. The $150 BeatsX can last up to 8 hours on full battery charge.
The $300Solo3 ones offer up to 40 hours of battery life according to Apple and come in four different colours for you to pick from.
They didn’t neglect wired earphones completely as they also announced the Beats EP On-Ear Headphones which starts at $129.95 and is cheaper than the three mentioned models.
Powerbeats and BeatsX are not yet available for orders but the Solo3 is and you can check the Apple store online while you wait for the other two models to be available later this year.
